I am 2014 pass out and will be joining a service sector IT company .. Which was the best placement I could get in my colg 😦 I too have been a topper in my school n college …and really don’t want to be stuck up in the IT drudgery.
I was depressed thinking that I will have to forgo my PG dream once I get join the job but after reading ur blog ..I am feeling rejuvenated.

I love digital electronics n computer related subjects. I want to pursue PG in a course that’s midway between elex n comps . I found ctech to b one .. And some courses at iiit.
1.Are there any other (cs-elex digital ) midway courses that are like that at other IITs? Becz writing gate for just 14 seats is a highly limited option scenario
2. Is my perception about CTech right? How’s CTech in terms of scope?

Hi Amruta 🙂 First of all I want to apologize for my extremely late reply but honestly I just caught hold of your comment now !! :O Its probably a bit late but still I would say that you should never leave your dream and pursue it till you achieve that 🙂 There is indeed CTech which is kinda ECE-CS combo ; there are some others like VIPES at IITKgp and some courses at IIIT’s.In terms of scope(placement+research) ,CTech is very good and always gets 100% placements and some very bright researchers 🙂 Please ping back any other doubts of yours..will be indeed happy to help u 🙂
